Make Druid Playable Again!
Not going to say that druid didn't need a small nerf, but this latest patch has made the class the most useless in the game. Animal forms are useless. Heals are worse than Cleric. Can jump over thorn wall? What is even the point of it anymore? Druid has, in one patch, become an absolute wheelchair class. Give the community time to learn to play around the class, like you have done in the past! These nerfs go too far!

<Hidden>I have been playing Dark and Darker for a month now. Started as Druid just like any other game. It has been nerfed every single week since i started playing. For some reason Will is one of our main stats but basically does nothing because our spells are underwhelming. To even stand a chance you have to either stack agility or strength (which we start out with none of) for shapeshifting. I thought long and hard if i wanted to continue my druid, and then wake up today to only having 2 Treants (while costing 2 more memory) just ruined the entire class for me. I will keep trying a bit and hope they can get this class fixed. For now ill be playing rogue.

<Hidden>Huge slap in the face for druid players after not giving us any bug fixes, scaling or buffing the weaker aspects. Only for us to find out that they have left us in the mud so that they can work on sorcerer...
Finish what you started or at least make small minor tweaks instead of hard nerfing it every damn patch.
I have lost all motivation to play druid, thanks ironmace, you've killed the game for all of us. -

<Hidden>The Druids abilities:
main power - Shapeshifting
bear form : should be a tank, still 1-2 shot.
panther form : only good for long jumps
chicken form : only good for using with panther for long jumps
rat form : only good for running away, used to be good at stealthing but now is useless because every second you squeak as loud as a fog horn which is a big ol neon sign saying "THERES A DRUID OVER HERE! THE CLASS THAT KEEPS GETTING NERFED!! LETS KILL THEM"
all forms incredibly weak
only 5 forms available yet one of the "skills" is giving another 5 slots of forms.
Spells:
Natures touch: barely any healing and takes forever
barkskin: lasts too short to be worth, still costs 2 memory
thorn barrier: nerfed so its main point (blocking people) now useless
Treant: doesnt pull agro, too slow to catch enemies chasing you, dies incredibly quickly, low damage output, recently nerfed to half the amount that you can cast and double the time it takes to regain charges and doubled the memory cost. -

<Hidden>Honestly not really sure what druid's place in a comp is anymore. Cleric is just a better healer who's heals actually scale. Animal form nerfs make playing shapeshift a joke. Thornwall can just be jumped over, and if I am just supposed to poke with a spear, why not just play fighter? We have no viable identity anymore. Even dreamwalk was nerfed so we cant kite out and win trades!

Bear form: drop the damage, crank up the health and armor, bludgeoning does less piercing more.
Panther: up the damage or the attack speed.
rat: remove the mouse squeaks BUT, add a negative if you dont use the squeak of the mouse, maybe reduced movement speed.
natures touch, make the healing only take a couple seconds or up the healing.
barkskin, up the duration.
thorn barrier make it taller but breakable.
treant, up the movespeed, add in something that makes enemies favor it over the druid.
these are ideas I came up with writing this and it still seems more fair then the stuff the devs are doing. we are in an era of Dev work where instead of tweaking skills and abilities to make all characters / classes / whatever fair they instead lower numbers to nerf people, we can be better. -

<Hidden>add back in the ambient rat sounds and up panthers movement speed. also rework the perks and make the other perks worth using.
for example herbal sense is completely useless, maybe make it so it lets you eat the herbs or something for a benefit.
or sun and moon which boost vigor and magic power. magic power only really affects 1 of the druids spells.
and fix all the bugs, hitboxes, and add scaling. druids kit is basiclly worthless right now and the only thing somewhat viable is high gear bear form which is very easily countered by walking away and spamming curse of pain/infinite arrows. -

<Hidden>I think that rat have "1" hp is joke .. have 0 dmg and 0 hp .. most useless form that druid have actually .. and they still nerfed this form to squeek every 0,5 second .. Panther with armor on every single gear piece getting one shots by every class .. Bear form is strong but if u have played this game 5 hours u know that he moving 1m for one hour and u can beat him easily .. They talking about fking Gorila but we already have bear ..Talking about penguin but we have less then 5 spots with water ..

<Hidden>Panther form- getting one shots by every class with any weapon
Bear- you will never hit or catch player with 100 hours playtime (usable only if enemy is stucked somewhere or in trios)
Chicken- form for roleplayers or just meme useless sh*t.. (nuclear chciken will never work against player with 100h + playtime)
Rat- Literally squeeking every 2 seconds to give enemy sign that u are there and if its fking timmy without headsets u have also super good ability to squeek manually every half second.. (0DMG,0HP, movement speed is good but useless vs players that building movement speed.. will be same fast as u)
Rat squeeking form with ability to squeek is braindead creativity by devs no offense but 0 IQ
Class is total unplayable and ruined by devs but dont worry.. they will soon add another useless form like Gorila and fking penguin with zero dmg,
Class is only for melee attack playstyle but u will kill only rookies or with some luck and supports behind u u can kill someone in trios/duos. -

<Hidden>They turned dreamwalk into a curse, now u can't even kill mobs as a panther, barb can swing his axe 2 times by the time u reach 3rd attack as a panther with 30 dex, u die from 1 axe hit.. so on and so on.. i spent 100$ in last 2 weeks, druid is the only class taht gives me joy to pay this game, for me u can remove all other classes from the game and call it "the druids" and i will still find joy in playing it.. ppl that are complaining are either ppl envious that they can't play druid, don't know, never invested time in learning or they don't know how to deal with a druid in most cases is about skill not about class or even gear; yeah let's remove the mouse and keyboard coz there are disabled kids out there that can't use a mouse and a keyboard and the game is not fair for them...

<Hidden>Druid needs more nerfs than buffs lmao, they still do insane damage with both bear and panther, can do tripe heal spell plus pot at the same time, bear is over 175 hp in squire, thorncoat 5 has no cooldown and is broken, can heal all the time with their perk, get their spells back insanely fast, can escape any situation in ease, rat can survive explosive bottle when full hp LMAO, bear can survive 4 repostes (longsword example) in squire, what are you on about

<Hidden>fuck no dude, ive been a druid player for like 2 wipes now and never i have felt the need to say druid needs a buff. yeah his healing is bad but its more for self sustain and quick resets, if you wanna heal well go life bloom (will admit life bloom is pretty bad right now.). but still panther is in a really good state right now and bear is just as oppresive as ever, just a little less damage. 10 second shapeshift is too much tho but even then you can gem cooldown reduction AND EVEN THEN if you be careful by not spamming shapeshift youll have enough of them. Just because you cant 1v3 with no gear doesnt mean the class is bad.

<Hidden>Yeah this is copium of the highest order. The bear still one shots damn near everything, and the mobility of the class with the Panther/Chicken/Rat BS is still unhinged. All the latest update did was lower the ability for the class to act like a rogue, the fast non-reactable damage output via panther. This was OP, and druid is still currently OP as long as the bear scales as it does.
