Additional and true damage should be deleted from the game.
In my opinion, additional and true damage is a stat, that brings disbalance into the game and devs can't balance it properly just because it totally nullifies the conception of dealing damage and it makes people to make non-alternative builds.
1) the variety in builds disappears, in fact, it is considered to gain vigor, agility, dexterity, knowledge, and stats that give damage are often ignored due to the fact that they can be obtained in the form of additional damage without sacrificing the rest.
2) this stat creates too much difference in strength between those who have this stat and those who do not.
3) he breaks the concept of skills, perks, etc. Using the example of the same staff mastery, if its damage is reduced from 3 to 1, then the damage on a high gear will decrease three times? No, the damage will just decrease by 2, and the perk will still deal a lot of damage.
Removing additional damage will be the 1st step towards balance and it will solve a huge number of problems.

<Hidden>It feels like this stat is really overpowered when stacked with decent gear. I've had many cases where a Caster with true magical damage just proceeds into killing me with 3 spells. Melee damage dealers also nuke when they stack true or additional damage. The most frustrating part is that the gear that does offer that kind of roll is expensive to the casual player. This creates a never ending cycle of dying constantly to a juiced player that rush spawns and you have no way to counter play. You chose to run? Eventually the hunter will catch up due to being able to blast PvE and just catch up because they also have the movement speed (looking at those 83% slayer fighters that somehow reach a 102% Warlock). Its just a toxic roll that breaks the balance by stating: if you don't have additional or true dmg (physical or magical) you will not kill. Simple as that.

<Hidden>Flag damage stacking is an awful mechanic in it's current state. It HEAVILY incentivizes using weapons with high attack speed. ESPECIALLY true damage makes the gameplay boil down to poking your opponent with a survival/recurve bow (for at least 20 dmg a shot) and then running at them to finish the job with a rapier/dagger/arming sword.
Competitively, flat damage stacking makes two handers and other damage stats obsolete. -

<Hidden>Flat damage could work if base damage and health were higher. Currently 1 added damage is worth too much on certain attacks to be balanced.
Removing True Damage or limiting it to one item like the Wizard Hat or something could be ok. If they remove they also need to reduce the PDR/MDR cap to 65% or so and improve spell base damage/Magic Power. -
